Park Slope Halloween Parade
October 31, 6:30pmThis year's Park Slope Halloween Parade will take place on October 31st (of course). It will start at 6:30 pm at 14th Street and 7th Avenue, travel down 7th Avenue to 3rd Street, turn left, and end at 5th Avenue. This year's theme is...BOO-Klyn.
Boo at the Zoo. Kids Go batty at the Prospect Park Zoo this Halloween weekend!
October 29 & 30, 10am - 5:30pmGo batty for Halloween at the Prospect Park Zoo with activities like face painting, craft making, encounters with "spooky" creatures and a trip through the Zoo's legendary haunted barn. Free with Zoo admission.
Halloween Karaoke Party
October 29th, 6:00pm-9:00pmCome dressed as your favorite rock star (or anything else, really) and party with your friends and family near the Robert Acito Park House. You will be able to sing some of your favorite songs with Lion�¢ï¿½ï¿½s Roar Karaoke and their 10,000 song library. Hot apple cider will also be available, and some snacks. There is $1 suggested donation per song to benefit the Friends of Carroll Park. Details: Carroll Park is located at the crossroads of Carroll Gardens, on an entire city block between Smith and Court Streets, President and Carroll Streets.
Halloween at the A-Scarium at the New York Aquarium
October 15-16m 22-23m 29-30The Aquarium's annual Halloween celebration kids of all ages can meet sea monsters, dance to music by Alastair Moock and SweetBeatz, enjoy animal-themed magic shows, live music, spooky storytelling, pumpkin carving, and crafts activities. There will also be al Halloween 4-D feature, The Curse of Skull Rock, showing in the theater outside the Aquarium entrance.There will also be treat stations throughout the aquarium and a Spooky Shipwreck to explore. Also on October 30th you can meet cast members from the Addams Family on Broadway! Details:
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by the Puppet People

A thrilling show of Washington Irving's #1 haunting tale featuring hand crafted marionettes, 2 life sized puppets, special lighting and smoke effects, and both classical and traditional folk music. Annual Halloween Parade in Ditmas Park
October 3st at 4:30pm
Line-up for this neighborhood parade that starts at 4:30pm on the corner of Albemarle and Westminster, for a walk at 5pm. Trick-or-treat follows the parade. Details: For additional information, please visit: ditmasparkblog.com
Clinton Hill Children's Halloween Walk and Performance
October 31st from 5:30pm - 7pm and later for performancesThis is one of our favorite Halloween events. There is a great friendly vibe, trick or treating everywhere, performances in front of houses and seeing friends. Head to the Pratt-Clinton Hill Community Garden (corner of DeKalb and Hall) for the beginning of the parade at 5 pm. The Parade Route winds through the neighborhood. Maps to the most generous homes for trick or treating will be provided. Of course, there will be the fantastic performance at 313 Clinton Ave. This house goes above and beyond with some kind of theatrical performance for everyone to see. (Performances run every 30 minutes). Details: Start at Clinton Ave between Gates and Greene and walk up to Myrtle and you will see the great costumes as revelers walk through the blocked-off streets.
